Good afternoon! I just took this quiz, and scored 9 out of ten, because i made a mistake in a question'how are you doing'? I wrote 'good' because i have heard most people saying 'i am good' if you ask them 'how you doing?' Why is my answer wrong? Why do people say 'good' if we want to know 'how are they?' |

dear Torsten i just finish telephoning test,i scored 8 out 10 instead of ;I'm doing fine ; i made it ;I'm doing good; because I've heard a lot of people saying I'm doing good and ; that must been a knock ; it was my answer instead of ;that must been a blow; best wishes admira _________________ To be or not to be ,that is the question. |

Hi Vieq, 'At my wit's end' is the correct idiom, not 'at the end of my wits.'
Completely puzzled and perplexed, not knowing what to do. "I've tried every possible source without success, and now I'm at my wit's end." This idiom uses wit in the sense of “mental faculties.” source _________________ "Inside every old person is a young person wondering what happened."

Your pronunciation is super! How did you learn? I'll be waiting your answer (maybe advice :)).
