He could pass for his brother. She could pass for a much younger woman. _________________ "Inside every old person is a young person wondering what happened."

That usage of 'press' doesn't make any sense. _________________ "Inside every old person is a young person wondering what happened."

Teachers,
How is 'pass for' different from 'takes after' ?
can we use them interchangeably? |

takes after - behaves like / has the same characteristics and mannerisms as... pass for - looks like / has the same appearance as... so they are not interchangeable. _________________ "Inside every old person is a young person wondering what happened."
