and also the differences about "while, whereas,as and so as"

Many thanks for this lesson it is very helpful for us learning L2. I know now that have can be a verb and a noun as well. It is a "busy word" I would say. A question then is why 'have' is used in the simple perfect tense e.g He doesn't have to go there vs He is not supposed to go there. In this case the function of have is quite complicated. Are the statement mean the same thing? I think they do have the same meaning, am I right?
