There's the word "live" missing in the sentence:

I need to get a long-distance carrier soon. I want to call my parents on a regular basis and I can't call them with my regular, local package because live they on the west coast and we're on the east coast.

You have reversed the order in your sentence, though.

I've changed that and also corrected two other questions in that test (an unnecessary 'the' and an incorrect word order) though the changes won't be reflected immediately.
